A new home

I have had nearly 2 years in my current therapy room. I love the space and have welcomed many clients here, sharing experiences, memories, laughter and tears. So when the opportunity came up to take on a new space it was a tough decision for me.

Do I stick with where I am comfortable, and put up with the elements that are out of my control about my counselling space, or do I take a risk, put myself into unknown territory and see what happens.

Lady collapsed with overwhelm from making a decision

This might all sound a bit dramatic, but with a thing like counselling, your space has got to be right for you and for your clients. I weighed up the benefits and the risks of moving, I considered some alternatives and trusted my intuition that it's time for a change. Do I still have a little niggling voice inside me? Absolutely! Am I listening to that voice? For sure. Am I basing all my choices and actions on it? No. Checks and balances are important. They help us to use some critical thinking, to slow things down and to take accountability for the decisions we make. It is our job to take the different thoughts on a subject, sort through them and come to a conclusion that feels appropriate for us.

Warm, welcoming therapy room to rent in Bingley

So with all of that said from 1st December, I will be moving to a beautiful space above Monkman Physiotherapy in Bingley. I am excited to welcome my current and future clients to the new pad and I am hopeful that it will offer a safe, warm and welcoming space to continue the work that goes on.

In addition to this, I am able to offer this room to others to share for their work. If you are looking for a space to work from, click here for some details. Feel free to give me a shout if you would like to discuss working from the space.
